 Have A Word

Have A Word

Mental Health Services

Lucy Hine

Founder | Trainer | Therapist | Coach

I created Have A Word with the goal of reducing the stigma surrounding Mental Health.

I am an accredited, Insured, Independent and passionate person. I have over 10 Years experience within various training roles, alongside 15 Years of managing and supporting people at work and otherwise.

I work with organisations of all sizes to provide excellent training in Mental Health.

I am an associate Instructor Member for MHFA England offering adult and youth training courses, as well as a Supervising Instructor for Mental Health First Aid.

I actively support Samaritans, Time to Change Mental Health campaign and my local MIND Mental Health Charity. I proudly support the NHS and a variety of Private Hospitals - including the COVID-19 pandemic.

I actively continue my inquisitive learning approach and continue my professional development in whichever direction my path leads me. It is with thanks to all clients past, present and future that I continue to be the most authentic version of myself - in both active Training and Therapist roles.

It is with passion, self-motivation and enthusiasm that I thoroughly enjoy what I am doing, alongside parenting my two beautiful children with dedicated support from my husband.

This continuing professional development (CPD) course has been jointly developed by The Open University and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy as a response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The course is a primer on working online as a counsellor or psychotherapist at a time when face-to-face therapy is neither possible nor safe.

Boosted knowledge and confidence to support counsellors, psychotherapists and students to offer technology-based counselling safely and effectively.
